Sync CaseDocker documents with Dropbox for easy file sharing and collaboration with external parties.
What It Does
The Dropbox integration enables two-way synchronization of documents between CaseDocker and Dropbox. Documents can be stored in Dropbox, accessed from CaseDocker, and changes sync automatically maintaining version history.
Setup Steps
- Provide Dropbox Credentials
Share a Dropbox OAuth token or app client credentials. The CaseDocker team can provision and configure the app for you.
- Generate Access Token
Generate OAuth 2.0 access tokens in Dropbox and configure in CaseDocker admin panel.
- Select Sync Folders
Configure which Dropbox folders should sync with CaseDocker and set sync direction preferences.
- Set Sync Rules
Define rules for when documents sync, including file types, folder paths, and conflict resolution.
- Test Sync
Upload a test file to Dropbox and verify it appears in CaseDocker, then test reverse sync.
Required Permissions
- Read/Write access to Dropbox files and folders
- Create and manage Dropbox folders
- Access file metadata and version history
- Sync file changes in real-time or on schedule
